She caught our attention a year ago with her cover of Guns ‘N’ Roses‘ Sweet Child Of Mine. No, not on the drums, or with a jazz quartet and a clown, but on a Chinese zither called a Guhzeng. That was the first we’d ever heard of the instrument, mainly because we’re a bunch of untraveled hicks! Anyway, we loved it. A nice quiet version of a really rocking song, that makes you realize just how beautiful that song is, even when it’s slowed down and simplified.
